We all have 5 stages of defense mechanisms to changes. They are famously laid out as DABDA or Kubler-Ross Change Curve.

NSDR – Calm through Mental Focus

NSDR, or Non-Sleep Deep Rest, is a relaxation technique where you bring your mind and body into a state of deep relaxation, somewhere between being awake and asleep. The term NSDR was coined by Dr. Andrew Huberman.
